Gayla Grace

Gayla writes, speaks, and coaches with a passion to strengthen stepfamily relationships. Having survived the trenches of stepparenting, she seeks to help stepfamilies find harmony and build long-lasting relationships. She is a mom to three and stepmom to two children, ages 17-33. Her brand-new book, Stepparenting With Grace: A Devotional for Blended Families, was released in August 2018 with Worthy Publishing. She is also the co-author of Quiet Moments for the Stepmom Soul, and Unwrapping the Gift of Stepfamily Peace, in addition to a monthly columnist on blended families with LifeWay’s Parenting Teens.  Gayla has a master’s degree in Psychology and Counseling and  founded  StepParenting with Grace more than a decade ago to offer coaching services and additional resources for stepfamilies. She and her husband Randy have been married 23 years and reside in Shreveport, LA with an “ours” child still at home.

Amy Urbach

Amy became part of a blended family in 2006. Amy has two children, and three stepchildren. She began to realize the issues that blended families face and the need for basic tools and resources. That’s when Amy’s passion to help other families prompted her to form and found Blended & Bonded in 2011. Her mission is to connect blended families to professional resources which can assist them with the common challenges blended families face. She resides in Oklahoma.

Carrie Soares

Carrie (McNair) Soares grew up the Chicago suburbs and has lived in Bloomington, IL, since 1995. A graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in Psychology, Carrie has experience in several fields, including work in a Christian counseling center. She works full time in the agricultural industry trading commodities on the Chicago Board of Trade. Carrie’s service in coordinating events has made her an integral part of the team, reaching other stepmoms with support and encouragement from her practical experiences as a stepmom of nearly 15 years.

Heather KetchlerHeather Hetchler

Heather is an author, speaker, life coach and the founder of CafeSmom. As a full-time stepmom her passion is to help stepmothers define their own positive path to success. Heather brings positive resources, encouragement, and support to stepmothers while also speaking on divorce recovery and stepfamily issues. She is also the co-author of Unwrapping The Gift of Stepfamily Peace. She resides in Cleveland, OH with her husband, four children, and two stepchildren.  Websites: CafeSmom
